Our summer classes offer you a good initiation in Fashion : Design, Pattern Making and/or Business.
You can combine several options : Fashion Desing & Pattern Making / Fashion Designe & Fashion Business
Fashion Design (2 weeks) :
- Learn techniques for figure drawing
- Develop your own personal design style
Fashion Design (4 weeks) :
- Learn techniques for figure drawing
- Develop your own personal design style
- Develop a fashion design portfolio
- Learn techniques to add color and depth to designs
- Develop a well conceived style board
- Discover the fashion neighbourhoods in Paris
Pattern Making (4 weeks) :
- Learn pattern making by flat cutting techniques
- Make various skirt and shirt models
- Discover pattern making by draping
- Make dresses models
Fashion Business (4 weeks) :
- Basics of Marketing : Marketing in Fashion, distribution, textiles and accessories (tools, channels, characteristics, vocabulary...)
- Techniques of Communication in Fashion: Fundamentals, unique characteristics, the evolution, best practices
- Important Events in Fashion: from showrooms to the web, team workshops
