Program Description
This internship opportunity is open to those who are interested in being a part of a team with fellow hard-working and driven individuals. It is important that interns be interested in helping youth while developing the community. Knowledge of football is a great asset to this program.
Applicants accepted to this program will help to coordinate the activities of WhizzKids United. You will report to the Programme Director and assist partner Programme Coordinators. Your responsibilities include:
- Implementing and supporting projects
- Assisting with developing training workshops on football and preventing HIV
- Help the Life Skills Trainers who are placed at the WhizzKids Health Academy and at local schools
- Evaluate and monitor our programmes

Qualifications
It is essential that the applicant:• Has a good understanding of English, both written and spoken
• Be Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Word and Excel)
• Have excellent people skills
• Be highly motivated and with a good working attitude
• Ideally have an interest in football
It is preferred that the applicant has:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline OR is currently enrolled in college/university studying a relevant subject
• Project management experience
• Good analytical skills
• Some experience in football coaching
