Program Description
Australian Internships was founded in 1998 to provide comprehensive training that is on-the-job and will meet and surpass the needs of graduates, students, and universities. This program works with international students from across the globe. This diversity extends to graduates and students from over 80 countries. Australian Internships has developed and created positions with over 1,700 Australian Government Departments and host companies from all disciplines and fields.
PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
• Unpaid internship opportunities covering most academic fields.
• Program runs from 6 to 26 weeks.
• Opportunities can be found all over Australia.
• Possible academic credit.
• Apply up to 3 - 4 months in advance, pending available vacancies and visas.
HOST ORGANISATION
Following a comprehensive interview process, you will be allocated to one of 1,700 host companies throughout Australia. Selections are made in all cases based on best available fit between the host company and your skill-set or academic background.

Qualifications
ELIGIBILITY- Age 18 to 30
- Upper Intermediate to advanced English level (IELTS 6.0)
- Internship field directly relayed to educational background
- Currently enrolled in tertiary course, or recent graduate within 24 months of course completion
VISA OPTIONS
Australian Internships is an approved sponsor with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection and provides assistance to all eligible candidates with the 416 Special Program Visa.
You may also complete an internship on one of the following visas:
- Working Holiday or Work & Holiday Visa
- Skilled Graduate Visa
- Student Visa

Coming to Brisbane and Australia for the first time, I was new to everything. AI team, especially my internship program supervisor was very nice, caring and helpful. I definitely loved the weather, the beaches, the city and people.
At the workplace, everyone was welcoming, encouraging and inspiring. I was able to apply all my knowledge and skills from school and learn more practical skills through various tasks. The best thing at work was that there is always someone helping and supporting you when you need anything. I would highly recommend the program to anyone looking for more working experience.
