Physical Therapy Internship

Program Description

Enroll in the Physical Therapy Internship and be immersed in a real world physical therapy work place. This is an ideal chance for interns who are interested in learning about the exercise methods and physical therapies used in India by professionals. Work with locals to help adults with disabilities and children who have physical therapy needs. Interns will be able to compare physical therapy techniques while adding to their own repertoire of skills. Interns may also assist those with neuromuscular disorders and those affected by cerebral palsy.

Interns will:
-Assist with physiotherapy and Orthopedic Rehabilitation
-Participate in Neurological Rehabilitation
-Utilize therapies including Manual and Manipulative
-Stabilize the Core
-Help individuals who are post-operative with Shoulder and Neck issues
-Educate on Home Care possibilities
-Create a strong following for fitness

Qualifications

-18 and over
-Studying or has studied physical therapy, exercise science, biology or something related
-Good command of English
-Studying or have graduated from an accredited university
-Likes to travel
