Program Description
Intern abroad with Art in Tanzania and help young Tanzanian dancers and musicians. The focus of this program is on traditional African music and dances. This is an ideal cultural exchange program for western artists. We are also building up a music school.
Interns will teach music, develop shows, help out with band rehearsals, and work in the Mzuka Records studio. There is a lack of funding and resources for music instructions in local Tanzanian schools. Our program assists in training artists to become music teachers and to develop extra curriculum for schools.
Interns will a part of an international and local team of professionals. This program is tutored by Mrs. Yuster Nyakachara and top Tanzanian music artists.

There is no cost for the actual program. We pay usd 100 month stipend as per the minimum wage policy in Tanzania. Personal costs include accommodation and meals that we also partly support, international flights and permits. Additional benefits available.
