Overall rating: 0 based on 0 reviews

Program Description

Local arts and handicrafts in India are dying out as artisans struggle to sustain their livelihood. In order to counter-act this trend, our partner organisation - a local social enterprise - creates products (jewellery, home decor) that marry traditional craftsmanship with modern design.
After proving first demand for their products, they are now ready to formalise their business processes and scale up their production. In order to do so, they are looking for a skilled volunteer intern who can support them with market trend analysis, inventory management, and identifying additional sales channels.
In addition to building the groundwork for the business side of things, you also have the chance to directly interact with local artisans and learn about their work and art. f you have been looking to expand your horizons and apply your skills in a meaningful way, then this is your opportunity.
