Program Description
Interns will work with a local organization to help Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to expand their assets and reach. Interns will help with development projects in a variety of partnerships that include local, national, and international organizations.
Interns will potentially be responsible for drafting newspapers, writing blog articles, helping with websites, putting out press releases, covering events, and looking up international cooperation. Mente Argentina’s Internship Program allows interns to add to their resume while learning about different organizations and businesses.
Interns will be able to discuss this internship stint in cover letters and during interviews with potential employers. You will be able to reference your depth of experience in this field and how you understand the organizational network more clearly. Program participants will also have the chance to enroll in an intensive Spanish course which will teach appropriate work vocabulary and useful everyday phrases.

1. Pre-departure assistance which includes helping to match interns with desirable positions and creating an easy transition to life in Buenos Aires2. Cultural activities and excursions occur weekly and are included in the program to help participants experience local culture

Qualifications
Like most internships, our internships emphasize on on-the-job training rather than merely employment. Interns are usually college or university students, but they can also be high school students or postgraduate adults seeking skills for a new career.We cooperate with a range of different businesses, state, non-governmental and international organizations. As an intern you will gain insight into Argentine culture and business environments while gaining solid experience in the area you choose. In many placements, you will work with Spanish speaking people, which will further enrich your Spanish knowledge and command of the language.
Spanish is not a requirement for all programs and supplemental Spanish lessons are offered to all program participants.
