Program Description
This highly unique internship experience combines the advantage of an educational experience by training all interns in every aspect of Film Production in the four week intensive. Once they are fully trained they are sent out into the field to gain highly valuable professional experience. In this way students are fully utilized in their positions because they know what they are doing and they receive an education, experience, contacts, letters of recommendations and acquire and impressive portfolio in the process.
Highlights
Supervision of our Internship ProgramStudents seeking academic credit must successfully complete all components of the FIFS Portfolio including critical reflections, group discussions, login of hours, supervisor evaluation and a certificate of completion. The portfolio serves as a tangible representation of their time abroad and demonstrates the professional and cultural competencies achieved throughout the program.
Pre-Departure Reflective Essay
One to two weeks prior to departure for the host country, participants are required to complete the Pre-Departure Reflective Essay focusing on what they hope to accomplish with their time spent in their internship and host country.
Qualifications
Students must be at least 18 years of age.No prior experience is necessary since we train all interns.Internship Types
