HELP International Summer Thailand

Program Description

Intern with HELP International and expand your horizons as you make a difference. You will be placed in various sites around Thailand in order to combat poverty. Work with local organizations as you help to teach, construct necessary buildings, help to garden, and launch education initiatives on hygiene. You will have the option to intern for five weeks, ten weeks, or fifteen weeks with each wave lasting around five weeks.

There is also the possibility of receiving internship credit for this experience. You will have the opportunity to even work with hill tribes to help the local community. Have plenty of chances to sightsee and even ride elephants or help to rehabilitate them during your free time!

Highlights

"My favorite thing about HELP International is that it focuses on sustainable solutions to problems. I loved working with the hill tribes, teaching them sustainable farming, helping them to become self-sufficient. Working with these people was a life-changing experience! While in Thailand, I traveled to Bangkok, Burma, and Mae Salong, I rode elephants and ostriches, ate lots of Pad Thai, and enjoyed hundreds of Buddhist temples. It was the experience of a lifetime.”
