If you are dreaming of a career in dentistry then we have the perfect opportunity for you. Shadow dentists in their day-to-day clinical procedures, take part in specialised global health tutorials and discover what being a dentist is really like in Africa, the Caribbean, Poland, Croatia and Thailand. You'll be assigned a dentist as your personal medical mentor. Handpicked and trained by us, they are dedicated to providing you with invaluable shadowing experience. Your placement will be tailored to suit your interests and give you maximum exposure to specialised dentistry procedures and treatments.

Highlights
The core of any Gap Medics placement is the opportunity to shadow health care professionals on the front line of patient care. You will spend each week in a different department, mentored by a expert in that particular field.You will spend at least 23 hours per week shadowing dentists and observing procedures each day. On top of this there will be opportunities to attend departmental meetings to discuss patients' progress.
Ensuring that you have a worthwhile and enjoyable experience is our top priority. To make sure you get this, we provide accommodation in our own private houses, complete with in-house catering, tropical gardens, large social areas and friendly supportive staff.
Qualifications
Gap Medics welcomes students aged 16 and over, and students are eligible to join up until their first year of clinical study. Our programs are excellent for current and prospective dentistry students.Internship Types
