Program Description

While on a dental internship abroad you are involved in dental work that includes dental diagnosis and patient examination, tooth extraction and filling, dental cleaning and oral dentistry under supervision. As a dental student involvement in these activities in addition to internship abroad, gives you the real picture of a dentistry study abroad in a healthcare system where dental care is not as developed with resource constraints. Through this program, you grow your skills and knowledge in dental practice and creativity in care delivery as you are able to identify how the dentists utilize minimal resources to deliver on optimally needed healthcare.
