Courses: Grade 11 University Functions (MCR3U), Grade 12 University Advanced Functions (MHF4U)
Advance your knowledge, understanding and appreciation of functions as we travel to the East Coast of the United States. Discover the many ways mathematics can be applied to the real world as you explore all that New York City has to offer. Put theory into practice at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan, or race to complete a math trail at the Bronx Zoo. Record and analyze data on Ellis Island, a gateway for millions of immigrants in search for the pursuit of happiness in the US, and the home to the Statue of Liberty. Study like a Harvard graduate at the Boston Public Library, and develop your problem solving capacity by conducting an investigation at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. Graph your way through Six Flags Amusement Park before exploring the vibrant city of Philadelphia, with a Philly Cheese Steak in hand.
