Courses: Introduction to International Business Grade 12 University/College Preparation (BBB4M)
Join us this March as we head off to New York City – the ‘Mecca’ of International Business. Known as the financial hub of the world, NYC is the perfect place to develop your knowledge and skills as an international entrepreneur. Experience all that New York has to offer and learn from some of the city’s brightest and most innovative business minds.
Our first stop is the globally recognized Macy’s Department Store, where you will take part in a tour and workshop of the glamorous building with a Macy’s representative. Visit the Museum of American Finance to learn about the spirit of entrepreneurship that has shaped this city into the financial capital of the world. Participate in a guided tour of the United Nations to discover what it means to be a global citizen, the realities of an increasingly interconnected world and its affect on global economies. Take a behind-the-scenes look at the business side of sports and entertainment, with an exclusive workshop before watching a professional sports game and Broadway show. Explore the storied streets of Lower Manhattan as you learn about the significance of Wall Street, the Stock Exchange, the tragedy of 9/11 and the rebirth of the Peace Tower and 9/11 Memorial.
