Program Description
This program features morning Practical ESL classes at International Gateway Kelowna combined with afternoon classes in Physical Education, Drama, Music, Dance, Cooking and Art at our partner high school, Studio 9 School of the Arts. Starting weekly from mid September to mid May for individuals and groups. Students take morning ESL classes at IGK in the adult program from 9:00am-11:30am. Then, they are transported by IGK staff to Studio 9 School of the Arts for afternoon classes from 12:30-3:30pm. Lunch is at Studio 9.
Highlights
This unique program combines Practical ESL at IGK with a high school experience at Studio 9. Studio 9 School of the Arts is a non-denominational (K-12) private school with approximately 200-300 year round students. Studio 9 features small class sizes (12 to17 students) and less than 5% international students. Enjoy meeting, interacting and learning with international and Canadian students in this program!
