In order to qualify for meeting the requirements of a first year of the Curtin Bachelor’s Degree Program, students must successfully complete the Tertiary Access Program or the Certificate IV Tertiary Preparation Program. Students who meet these requirements can progress onto the diploma. Potential applicants who have completed an equivalent to the Australian Year 12 standard and also meet the academic and English entry requirements are eligible to apply for the Diploma Program. Successfully completing the Diploma Program will lead into Year 2 of the Curtin Bachelor’s Degree Program.

Curtin College is for students who:

• Do not meet Curtin's minimum ATAR entry requirements
• Completed year 12 but did not obtain an ATAR
• Did not complete sufficient WACE subjects at high school
• Successfully completed year 11
• Are of mature age and do not meet Curtin University's entry requirements
