English Grade 12 University Preparation (ENG4U)
Writer’s Craft Grade 12 University Preparation (EWC4U)

Join us on the beautiful West Coast of the USA for the ultimate road-trip this July! Take in everything the West Coast has to offer, from the Golden Gate Bridge to the most scenic drive in the world on Highway 1. Experience, first hand, how the riches of the Pacific Coast connect to the English curriculum.
Land in San Francisco and study like a true university student on the legendary campus of Berkeley University. Check out Silicon Valley, the place where Google and Facebook call home and attend a live taping of your favourite television show at Paramount Studios. Travel south to the stunning coastal city of Monterey to complete a Thematic Photo Analysis assignment that corresponds to our novel, set in this beautiful destination. What is a visit to the Golden State without beach excursions to the famous sandy stretches of Santa Cruz, Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier, or to the desert resort of Palm Springs. Be an active citizen by participating in volunteer work at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Take on the role of the tour guide for your Location Presentation assignment at famous sites like the footsteps of the famous “Hollywood Sign” in Los Angeles before receiving a Warner Brothers VIP Studio Tour.
