MSC International Tourism Management

Cardiff Metropolitan University has partnered with us to produce the MSC Programme in International Tourism Management. This course will teach students how to understand and exceed in the foundations of international tourism management by stimulating critical thinking and promoting the mentality that multi-disciplinary approaches can turn management issues into opportunities. Research is a main component of this degree so that students are encouraged to utilise an evidence-based approach to this field.

10 percent of jobs across the globe fall into the tourism industry. There are overlaps with other professions such as hospitality, but this course will focus on the tools needed to succeed in tourism management specifically. Unique tourism products will help to stand out from steep competition since distinctive products are worth more in the market arena. Our programme emphasizes creative innovation to all aspects of tourism management.

Focus on customer satisfaction and quality of service are crucial to the industry, however, there is an increasingly high use of technology in the passing of information and communication. Internet services are now one of the dominant ways of promoting tourism products. Tourism groups and managers should use an adaptive approach in technology operations. This course will over the shifting needs in a changing market arena.

Students who have not had important previous qualifications or experienced potentially need to enroll in an extra semester of study known as the Principles Stage. This will increase the course to 16 months**. The courses in the Principles Stage are:

Accounting and Decision Making Techniques
Business Environment
Information Technology and Management Information Systems

Students will be officially enrolled in Cardiff Metropolitan University during the course of the degree. Even though students can finish the degree in London, they also have the opportunity to finish the final semester in an LSC campus in Asia and Europe.
