Master of Security Technologies, Systems and Management

Program Description

The Master of Security Technologies, Systems and Management (technical or management focus) is a two-year programme taught in English language at the Faculty of Applied Informatics (FAI) of Tomas Bata University in Zlín. Within this interdisciplinary study programme, students increase their technical knowledge essential for the optimum use of the technical means of security systems. At the same time, they learn how to deal with critical situations in a systematic way and how to analyse possible risks. Students are encouraged to be active and creative while managing technical information. Graduates are experts in technical and managerial supervisory in the private security services in dealing with the protection of persons and property, with an emphasis on the application of modern information technology. They can work in firms dealing with production, design, installation and operation of security equipment.

Tuition fee: approx. EUR 1,860 per 1 academic year
Scholarship: Students in this programme meeting criteria may receive the TBU Master’s scholarship (CZK 60,000 i.e. approx. EUR 2,230 per academic year).
