The program is the opportunity for you to focus on the linguistic aspects but also on more generic aspects of the French culture and society thanks to its specific structure based on core courses and electives. You need to take all required core courses (4) and can choose among 4 electives. The final project of the program is a memoir that is a 30-40-page long paper on a topic you have selected together with your facilitator. A proposal for the memoir can already be submitted during the first term. We strongly suggest that you come forth with a topic you are passionate about and will enjoy pouring your creativity into or conducting research for. The memoir needs to be written in French and will be graded by your facilitator.
