Objectives and Perspectives

Students of this program will be prepared as specialists in economics and business. They will acquire essential skills in the fields of civilization/globalization, regional studies, international law, European integration, international politics, micro- and macroeconomics as well as international economics. This will allow students to make important decisions while controlling the activities of institutions and business organizations internationally.

Students will need a strong foundation in their Bachelors studies since this program is at the Masters level. The course will expand the knowledge learned during the Bachelor’s Degree and will show students how to put knowledge and skills into practice. Our program revolves around lecture courses that present theoretical issues alongside hands-on seminar courses that provide opportunities for debate, interactive discussion, and group/individual presentations on relevant and current issues in the field.

Students will be provided with foundational knowledge in order to be able to continue their studies into our doctoral (PhD) program.

Duration of Studies: 4 semesters for academic studies
Number of ECTS credits: 120
Number of teaching (contact) hours: 1275

Students will have the opportunity to study at a partner institution of ERASMUC, bilateral European and overseas programs for the duration of one academic semester. These credits will be accepted as a part of our Master’s Program. Students can apply for ERASMUS programs in 25 universities within EU member states and many others outside of the EU.

Students who graduate from our Master’s Program will learn about:

- Social and economic concepts and the factors that influence them at local, regional, national and international levels
- Decisional theories in the economy, international economy, world economy, business administration and analytical methods
- Problem solving techniques important for research, analysis of special literature results and innovative work
- Directing methods of colleagues, groups, projects and larger organizations
- National and international special literature and research results

Students who complete the Master's course will be able to:

- Acquire and represent national, European and universal values and they can present these values in the world of corporations, regions, state and international organizations
- Fulfill, organise and direct complex special functions relevant to work, apply methods creatively, formulate professional opinions, prepare and make decisions
- Recognize, understand and make relations inside the corporation, region, state and international organisation, and between the organisation and the business environment
- Recognize individually the problems, the new environmental phenomena in the operation of these organizations
- Apply the economic, financial, marketing and management theories at international levels
- Analyze the geopolitical, social, cultural and religious aspects of the international environment
- Formulate efficient international business strategies
- Apply negotiation and convincing techniques efficiently, have business communication in two foreign languages
