Fashion Design - 2 year programme

Program Description

Course participants will gain the skills, technical knowledge, and creativity needed to rise in the fashion industry as professionals. We provide an innovative approach combining applied technical proficiency with creativity. Students will proceed from concepts of design through various processes to the production of the final product. Experimental and exploratory projects allow students to build a comprehensive knowledge of fashion design.

Students will hone an eye for market trends while building a foundation of technical proficiency so that participants can create individual identities and styles in their collections.

Requirements for the program:

English is the language of instruction for our programs and so participants need to write and speak fluent English.
In order to be exempt from English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, students must fulfill any of these requirements:
• Minimum score of C6 in English at GCE 'O' level
• Minimum IELTS score of 5.5* (academic module) or equivalent
• Minimum TOEFL score of 550* (paper-based) or 70 (internet-based)
*Taken in the last 2 years

What`s Included

ASSESSMENT METHODS
All modules will be assessed through a combination of assessments, tests, class participation
and written examinations. To be awarded the Advanced Diploma, students will need to achieve
a passing mark of 50% for all modules.

TEACHING AND LEARNING
It is essential that a student is subjected to a broad range of views and experiences in order
that the learning process may elicit, sometimes over a prolonged period, appropriate routes
for a person to take, particularly in the latter stages of the Programme.
