Program Details
Available to professionals interested in accomplishing and excelling in studies of management through applying practical learning and research are welcome to apply to the doctorate program offered by AGSB. This is an independent and flexible option as opposed to traditional higher degree studies. This program focuses on specializing and researching specific areas of professional practice.
Students can determine their own research methodology courses. This provides rapid completion, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and a grounding in the course material.
Outline of the Course
12 hours of research methodology
10 seminars/workshops for the duration of 10 months
Learning and guidance from highly qualified professors / advisors to oversee the candidate’s research
A final Thesis report has to be submitted to the Academic Dean prior to the defense
Aims
Developing abilities to carry out independent research at an advanced level
Providing access to the latest academic tools and concepts
Facilitating in-depth studies of particular areas in Business Administration
Extending professional knowledge through research and the application of personal competencies
Providing a high quality doctorate in the area of Business Administration
Requirements for Admission
• A bank statement certifying financial solvency (Applicant’s or Sponsor’s)
• An autobiographical essay of approximately 500 words reflecting your educational and career goals, research proposal and your motivation in seeking admission to AGSB
• TOEFL official score report for non-native English speakers. TOEFL minimum score is 550/TOEFL IBT score 80 (AGSB institution code: 9756). IELTS minimum score is 6.0
• Curriculum Vitae / résumé
• Copy of valid passport
• Six (6) passport-size photographs
• Master’s degree from an accredited college/university and official transcripts
• The completed and signed application form
• A minimum of three years of managerial experience supported by a letter of recommendation
