Students at Northern Michigan University enjoy various outdoor activities such as hiking, surfing, kayaking and swimming in Lake Superior. There are more than 300 student organizations to join as well as community activities to participate in. For international students, there are student organizations such as All Nations Club, Chinese Club, All About Korea, Spanish Club, Muslim Association, etc. Students also have the opportunity to join mnay club sports such as soccer, hockey, basketball, track, etc.

What`s Included
There are several locations across campus to provide the tools necessary to help your student succeed. Located on the lower level of the Learning Resource Center, All-Campus tutoring center provides tutoring services for most of the academic programs. There is also a Writing Center in the Learning Resource Center for students to get feedback on their papers.Degree-seeking full time students receive either ThinkPad or MacBook to use until they finish their degrees. With NMU's LTE network across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, students can access online wherever and whenever.
NMU's hometown of Marquette offers various community events and service learning for students to join as well.
