The scenic outdoor plaza surrounding the entrance of the Science Building was made possible thanks to the generosity of Jim and Nell Hawkins. They made a $575,000 gift to the MCC Foundation that funded this area, as well as the two original works...
The scenic outdoor plaza surrounding the entrance of the Science Building was made possible thanks to the generosity of Jim and Nell Hawkins. They made a $575,000 gift to the MCC Foundation that funded this area, as well as the two original works of art inside the building. Their donation was the largest single gift in the history of the foundation.

Nestled among rolling hills and large trees, MCC has been recognized statewide for its natural beauty and outstanding architecture. MCC also owns Highlander Ranch, a 200-acre horse farm located about five miles from campus in Bosqueville, and includes the Emergency Services Education Center, located off campus near the Waco Regional Airport.
