The Russian language school “Zlatoust,” based on the Publishing House “Zlatoust” provides a variety Russian language courses. Nowadays, the school combines more than 20 years of successful teaching experience with excellent teachers and textbooks. Our school offers students the unique opportunity to learn the language with famous teachers, the authors of popular and widely used textbooks. Our teachers have academic backgrounds; most of them hold doctoral degrees and have a long practice in teaching students.
We have experienced teachers applying their own effective methods. You can choose from standard, intensive and business courses on various levels, which prepare students for the different aspects of Russian grammar, improve communicative skills and aid in preparation for the Test of Russian as the Foreign Language. Considering that our Publishing House has exclusive rights to publish materials of the Russian State Testing System, we're entitled to train students to pass the Level Certificate exams of the international standard, recognized by the ALTE (Association of Language Testers Europe). Individual attention to each student and high academic standards in the unforgettable atmosphere of St. Petersburg make studying Russian in our school a very special experience. We have our own system of testing, controlling, and supervising students’ knowledge, using only the most contemporary approaches. Our school's educational programs are carefully designed and have been tested in classrooms. We have all kinds of materials for teaching Russian as a foreign language at all educational levels (from beginner to proficient), including books, DVD and CDs. You can take part in the group or one-to-one classes and you choose the time and dates to start languages classes. You decide where you prefer to live - with a host family or in our hotel. Nevertheless, in all cases you will be surrounded by friendly people, who want you to speak Russian better. Our language school is situated in the center of one of the most beautiful cities in the world near the “city heart’- Peter and Paul Fortress, the place where the city was born, in the famous house build by Benau brothers in the beginning of 20 century. From the very beginning you will be in the core of the city's cultural life: museums, cathedrals, theaters. We believe that close contact with Russian culture and way of life is the way to better learning and understanding of Russian language and people.
