Founded in 1991, UWest is a four year, private, non-profit university situated on a beautiful hill in Rosemead, CA. Students at UWest receive personalized services as faculty and staff work together and directly with students in meeting students’ academic and personal needs. UWest is committed to serving the local community in providing excellent academic programs and student-centered services to assist students in reaching their educational goals. Small classroom sizes allow for individualized attention and an interactive learning environment. In addition, UWest is committed to providing scholarship opportunities for students. Scholarships along with federal and state aid assist largely in covering tuition costs at UWest. The residential campus is home to nearly 120 students and nearly 400 students attend courses.
