Based in Hendon, North London, Middlesex University was formed in 1992 after a merger of several other institutions in the area. As well as the campus in Hendon, they also have campuses in Dubai, Mauritius and Malta - allowing you to spend some of your studies abroad.
The main Hendon campus is one of London's biggest, and was recently nominated for the 'Best Facilities Award' in the Guardian University Awards. Over the past few years Middlesex have invested over £200 million in the university, providing significant upgrades to teaching environments, including state of the art laboratories. Courses on offer at the university include those in art, media, business, science, health, education and law. As such the university has produced a mixture of notable alumni including actors Helen Mirren and Zoe Wanamaker, artist Anish Kapoor and designer Vivienne Westwood. |
