The Chinese Language Program in Tsinghua University serves to promote the Chinese language learning. There are 8 levels covering from beginner to high level. Students are assigned to suitable classes according to their level.The academic year is divided into two semesters: (1) Spring Semester: Mid-February to the end of June. The application time is: October 15th--December 15th of the previous year. (2) Autumn Semester: Early September to mid-January. The application time is: March 15th--June 15th of the year.
