Institution description:
A Door to Italy (ADTI), founded in 2002, is located in the center of Genoa, Italy, just a few steps from the largest medieval town in all of Europe. Genoa’s old town is the best example of an entirely preserved medieval town in Europe and in the Mediterranean area, a large part of which has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. A stay in Genoa offers the possibility of visiting the world-renowned village of Portofino and Cinque Terre, lying on the beautiful coast a few kilometers away from the town. The natural beauty of the Genoese region and landscape with its mild climate, and allure of beautiful nearby sights make Genoa a perfect location for study abroad students.
ADTI specializes in the successful organization of every aspect of a study abroad program: language development, cultural immersion, organization of social cultural activities and trips to surroundings to discover the richest variety of experiences that Italy has to offer its visitors. It provides students the opportunity to study the language, the culture, and the history of Mediterranean Italy.
Facing the Mediterranean Sea and overlooking the beautiful Ligurian Gulf, Genoa, the capital of the region Liguria, is a city with a lot to offer those who wish to discover its secrets and to experience its fascinating history, traditions, ever-changing present.
The school offers a wide range of Italian language and cultural courses at all levels from A1 to C2, following the European Framework by the Association of Language Testers in Europe (www.alte.org).
