Senda Verde is a privately run Animal Refuge located in the Yungas jungle just 2.5 hours away from the city of La Paz. We are dedicated to recuperating native Bolivian wildlife rescued from trafficking and abuse. Then giving them a second chance at life in the most natural form we can offer on the reserve. The refuge now cares for over 450 animals (2014). We are also committed to educating all who visit on environmental conservation and connecting people with nature.
