The Society for the Promotion of Initiatives in Sustainable Development and Welfare (SOPISDEW) Cameroon was created in 2010 and registered as a charity in Cameroon in July, 2012 with registration number 08/AR/E.26/A2/PS/118. Our head office is in Manchok-Oku in Bui Division of the North West Region of Cameroon. SOPISDEW Cameroon is an apolitical, non-profit, secular volunteering grassroots community based development organization created to empower rural and indigenous communities. Our mission is to collaborate with local, national and international organizations, institutions, communities, and individuals in the process of poverty alleviation through the provision of community empowerment services, development of sustainable agricultural income-generating activities, education and training, environmental development programs, development of community capacity to benefit from Information and Communication Technologies, all geared towards a sustainable and stable improvement on the living standards of individuals and communities.
