Marketing and Entrepreneurship Internship

Program Description

Gain insight into the small business culture of Argentina through an internship that focuses on local companies with international clientele. Interns work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an organization that concentrates on increasing production and exports.

Get hands-on experience and insight into the day-to-day operations of a small business and learn what it takes to expand and keep an international company running. By assisting with tasks and projects, interns are immersed in the company culture and will see their Spanish language improve greatly.

Interns build their resume and gain unique experiences to discuss in future cover letters and interviews through their internship. Participants may also gain a better knowledge of the business and day-to-day vocabulary through an optional intensive Spanish language course, provided by Mente Argentina.

4. Program coordinators will provide airport reception and drop off and will greet interns with a welcome packet for their time in Argentina

5. Learn even more about life and culture in Buenos Aires and make a difference with an optional volunteer placement throughout the city

Qualifications

Like most internships, our internships emphasize on-the-job training rather than merely employment. Interns are usually college or university students, but they can also be high school students or postgraduate adults seeking skills for a new career.

We cooperate with a range of different businesses, state, non-governmental and international organizations. As an intern you will gain insight into Argentine culture and business environments while gaining solid experience in the area you choose. In most placements, you will work with Spanish speaking people, which will further enrich your Spanish knowledge and command of the language.

Spanish is not a requirement for all programs and supplemental Spanish lessons are offered to all program participants.
