High School Study Abroad

Going to high school in a foreign country will definitely set you apart from your peers. It demonstrates you have the courage and independence needed to succeed in life. By living with a local family and studying at a local school, you’ll have the opportunity to pick up a new language, learn about a new culture, and make friends from around the world. Next, check with your high school abroad program to ensure your current high school credits will transfer both to the new school and back (in case you are not a senior). Once the paperwork is all taken care of, talk with your parents about how to fund the program. Students sometimes raise money or work extra jobs during the summer in order to save up enough cash for their time abroad.
