Management, Policy Analysis & Entrepreneurship in Health and Life Sciences (MPA) is unique in its focus. Innovations and developments in the fields of Health and Life Sciences give rise to complex social issues. The programme concentrates on the scientific aspects of integrating different areas of knowledge and on developing effective policies. MPA is all about making the right decisions, and motivating and managing the professionals who work in this sector.

STRUCTURE OF THE PROGRAMME
On the two-year Master’s programme in MPA, you will take compulsory courses, optional courses, complete two internships and write a thesis on a topic of your choice. Internships are a vital part of the programme. You might complete yours at the Ministry of Health, a pharmaceutical company or a research institute, or even do an internship abroad. In Health and Life Sciencesbased Policy, you focus on government policy and how it can solve complex social issues. In Health and Life Sciences-based Management and Entrepreneurship, you look at how scientific knowledge evolves and contributes to interesting and relevant innovations for society. In International Public Health, you explore health issues in a global context. In Science Communication, you work towards becoming an expert communicator on scientific
matters.

During the Master's programme students with a Bachelor's in Health and Life Sciences obtain additional expertise in the fields of policy and management.

What`s Included

To obtain the annotation for a certain specialization on your Master’s degree certificate, you need to obtain at least 12 ECTS from courses specific to your chosen specialization. You are also required to write your thesis (9 ECTS) and conduct at least one of your internships (30 ECTS) within this specialization.
